A couple listings for IBM LPFKs showed up in my search. Feels like a lower price than I paid for the one sitting in a box not being enjoyed. 

Michael Brutman has some great details on his website for interfacing. You do need a mini din connector that isn’t too fat to attach. I have two of these and neither came with cables in the box. I think they were boxed separately so only the needed cable would ship to the customer.

That reminds me, it's time to finish the C code that I started writing to drive them.

It's a simple protocol, and it would make a really cool "retro macro pad."  I've also thought of misusing mine to show how many people are currently connected to the web server or a telnet BBS.
