Date:       28 June 2025
Time:       11am - 4pm
Place:      Clubhouse
            Kirkland, WA
Directions: https://www.sea-rcs.com/more-about-srcs/

Next meeting is TOMORROW Saturday 28 June 2025.

Half of 2025 is almost gone...time for that monthly/semiannual check in on your Retro-Computing OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). Where has the time gone?!?

The format of Seattle Retro-Computing Society (SRCS) meetings is roughly a disorganized show-and-tell or exhibition of member computer systems or related artifacts. Generally we don't have an organized presentation but if this interests you please contact us. SRCS meets on the fourth Saturday of each month with some adjustment in December for Christmas.

SRCS meetings are graciously hosted at a member's residence, please respect the space and neighbors. We have power and a good amount of table space available for you to bring your retro computing system to show, demonstrate, or in some cases repair. We are not a repair facility, please coordinate any assistance offline or in the SRCS social medias - maillist/googlegroup or Facebook. If you show up with a broken computer and no plan you should expect some disappointment.

If you choose to bring a snack, food, or drink item to share, we have a table for refreshments. Have a large system, special network or power requirements? Please check first if we are able to accommodate or make special arrangements to best show your system.

All lanes of NB I-405 in Kirkland will be closed from NE 70th St. to NE 124th St. on Saturday, June 28 (and Sunday, June 29).

Takeaways:

(1) If you are coming to the 06/28 SRCS meeting on I-405 from the south, you will be able to get off at the usual exit, but there may be significant backups getting to the exit and until you are able to turn east on Old Redmond road.

(2) If you are coming to the 06/28 SRCS meeting on I-405 from the north, you won't have any trouble getting here, but you will have to fight some crappy traffic when you leave, if you want to go back north along the I-405 corridor.

It is a moot point for me as I am not attending this month.  Hopefully the route will improve by July, but I will plan an alternative route if necessary.  520 is an option as I have GoodToGo (not a requirement but tolls are cheaper with it).

Every have a great day at the meeting!

Clay
