Hello!

The musician Master Boot Record (MBR) blew up the SID chip in his C64C while playing in Portland last night, and he is looking for a replacement while headed up to Seattle to play tomorrow night. I assume he will need it for the remainder of their US tour. Is there anyone here who could help him out?

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Joshua

I was planning to go to this show, does this mean this show might be canceled

Hi, Clifford,

The show should not be cancelled. They have another C64 they are using as backup, but they would like to repair or replace the C64C they regularly use.

A couple of SRCS folks have replied offering to help, so hopefully it will get sorted.

Sincerely,
Joshua

Ahh too bad you guys didn't ping me, I could have given them an extra 64C motherboard. Hopefully they got sorted out.

Yes. They got a 9V SID chip from me. It was great meeting the band!
