Next meeting is this Saturday, 28 September 2024

As hinted at earlier this month, one of our members, Joe Decuir, has made
arrangements for us to meet this month at the UWB campus in Bothell. We have
access to two rooms, one room has tables to display your latest project and a
second equipped with various test equipment at electronics benches.

Secondly, at 11:30, Rik Lambey will share some information about the recently
formed Seattle Interactive Computer Museum (SICM)-an organization which seeks
to preserve the history of computing technology and foster opportunities for
inclusive access to education in technology. A clipboard will be to provide
your email if you want to learn more as SICM develops.

The rooms we have this month are “dry,” absolutely no food or drink in the
rooms. There is a generous hallway/lobby outside the rooms and you’re welcome
to have food and drinks in this area. We will have a table for food items and
there is a selection of vending machines begging to separate you from your money.

Parking Info: Premium parking areas are $4 on Saturdays. Free parking is
available if you don’t mind a tiny hike. Parking is either PayByPhone or paid
at a Pay Station. The closest parking is premium either West Garage,
18231 110th Ave NE, directly across from Innovation Hall, or just on the other
side of The Truly House. The South surface lot is at the end of 110th Ave and
is free to use on weekends. Further info at these links:

I found this on the site: https://www.uwb.edu/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/uw-bothell-campus-map.pdf
The 2024/09 was switched to 2024/10; must have been a recent repost?

Regardless, thanks for the info.  :-)

Got maps and reviewed the directions, but either I’m rather thick today, or I cannot figure out which building the rooms 010 and 012 are located.  That would be helpful, as I missed the last meeting at the campus (had a family luncheon to attend, if I remember correctly).  Could someone clue me in on the building name?

Thanks.
Clay
