Hi all. I’m new to the list but have attended a couple of the recent events at the old Rainier Brewery (PacComEx & SDF Interm), so I’ve met a few of you.

I have a few Commodore 64 disks that I’d like to try and get imaged. Is there anyone in the Seattle area that has an Applesauce setup that might be able to help me out?

Gene very graciously offered his help, but I’m unfortunately limited to public transit, so someone a bit closer would be very helpful.

Many thanks,

Hi Anthony! So...you can almost certainly get better help from someone with an Applesauce and better skills.

But if you get stuck and can't find anyone near transit, I'm right above the Capitol Hill light rail — and I do believe the Greaseweazel that Daniel showed me how to set up can write D64 and D71 images? (although on 5.25", I've only done PC MFM images.)

I'm fairly flexible after 11/14.

Good luck,

Eli

Hi Eli. That would be great! As it happens, I’m occupied until mid-November as well. I can contact you offline in a week or so once I’ve nailed down my schedule and we can figure something out?

Thanks,

—Anthony
