(crossposted to seattle math and davinci; sorry to the one or two of you who will get dupes)

Dover has long been my favorite source for math books.  And what's more, the books are *really* cheap.  No more than fifteen bucks new.  Pennies for good condition older ones.  And they cover most of the subjects our members are interested in, as well as the prerequisites for those subjects.  I suggest a (small) math library at Jigsaw.  I'm considering doing this at my own expense, just because I love the idea so much, and the financial burden is minimal.  Also because I don't want to house that many math books at my place, and will never need access to more than one or two at a time.  What say ye, jigsawers and math geeks?  Do you dig the idea?  What constraints (size/breadth) or suggestions do you have.  Also, anyone who wants to pitch in, that'd be appreciated too.

I like this! Here's my take on starting a great - but cheap - math library (http://www.mathispretty.com/?p=135). I'd be happy to buy a couple of these books for the group.

Those all look excellent ('cept I can't speak for the statistics book; not saying it's not good, however.), they're all by excellent authors and one of them (Road to Reality) I've poked at myself and adore.  Still want more input from the davinci side about where at jigsaw and how much space we could use.
