to Seattle iPhone Development, aa...@fotozio.com
We're working on an app that enables users to snap a picture of a road
sign, a menu, a map, etc., something that's written in a language they
can't read and automatically translate it to English.
We're currently engaging with travel-centric companies who might want
to "sponsor" the app, branding it as their own. If we're not able to
find a good match, we plan to release it on our own, and hence the
call for local devs who have written high quality iPhone games.
Each translation takes 10 - 60 seconds to process, during which time
we'd like to offer our users something fun to do. If you've got a
lite version of your game, or can easily make one, let me know if
you'd be interested in us including it in our app so users can play it
while they wait for their translation. Including your game in our app
will not only increase the "fun factor" of our app, but we will also
expose your game to a new audience and hopefully increase sales of the
paid version.
We’re anticipating non-trivial media exposure with the launch of our
app since it’ll be the first of its kind; it’s likely the game we
include will get a health dose of coverage as well.
Let me know if you're interested and feel free to forward this to
anyone else who you think might be.
Thanks,
Justin Wilcox
