BigOven 1.2 Update Now Shipping!

Just a quick update that last night, Apple approved our update to the (free) BigOven 170,000+ Recipes App.
It’s “ready for sale” in the iTunes Store. This new version includes:
· Leftover Wizard – enter 3 ingredients in your fridge or pantry, and find out what you can make!
· More streamlined interface – kudos to our friends at Pixelube Inc. who did a great job updating the look/feel
· “What’s for Dinner?” helps you get unstuck by showing you what cooks around the world are making tonight for dinner
· Remembers the recipe you were looking at if a phonecall came in
· Easily access the Favorites and “Try Soon” recipes you marked on our site, BigOven.com
· Access recipes that you post (for free) on our website
· Search a 1,000+ entry Food Glossary
We’ve been pretty pleased with the takeup rate on the BigOven iPhone App. To date, over 2 million downloads have happened in the year that it’s been available. (With Apple recently announcing 2 billion downloads, that makes BigOven an app that got downloaded 1 out of 1,000 times across the store.)
