The nomination round of the XYZZYs has a little over a day left for voting. A good number of close votes in a lot of categories. Last chance, people.

To confirm for next meeting: we're playing Pale Blue Light and possibly some other things that I've forgotten? I'm fairly sure that SS Whore wasn't generally recommended.

Voted! I'd forgotten about Pale Blue Light, but remembered Starborn.
Both are up on the Game Log on if.seattle.wa.us now. (SS Whore is
still on my personal list.)

When are people free to meet up this month?

Ouch, looks like all my XYZZY picks got stomped by the Choice of Games machine. I should've done a better job of promoting them.

I don't recall the awards being quite so partisan in the past but maybe that just reflects my Inform / TADS bias.

I am free the next two weekends. Either Saturday or Sunday works.

The awards are, indeed, looking unusually partisan this year. There's usually, I think, a certain amount of partisan voting from the Hugo and Adrift camps, as well as from people who don't play anything outside the Comp; but this doesn't have much impact, and they tend to overlap a lot more. (In that they overlap at all).

I'm sure that this will all get sorted out one way or another, but things may get a little heated in the meantime. (It's been such fun having to keep this under my hat for the past three weeks, I can't even tell you.)

I have plans for next Saturday, but otherwise I'm good whenever.

(Also, I suspect that I may have pulled the idea that we were playing Pale Blue Light out of nowhere, but it doesn't hurt to have an extra game or two.)

I'll be visiting Seattle for a work event this month; I'll be free for a meetup on Saturday Februrary 25th. Any chance of a meetup on that day?

The 25th works for me.

Alrighty... I'll say 25th is a go then and mark it up on the site. I'll assume we're meeting at UW - but if anyone wants to do an Eastside meetup in the future, we can shuttle people over there.

Might be able to show up, although I don't have much interesting to
contribute. Would be nice to see people and hear what everyone is
working on.
