Topic Summary:

Paul Andrews will present some of the immersive recording work he's been
a part of over the years, highlighting the various microphone techniques
he's developed and employed to capture fully immersive audio. The focus
will be on innovative microphone arrangements that draw on a number of
established techniques to achieve the most effective result. Examples
will be drawn from real sessions with an emphasis on practical
application. Please join us at our October meeting for an informative
look into the field of immersive audio.

Presenter Bios:

Paul Andrews is a Global Support Specialist for DPA Microphones and is
the owner/engineer of Foundation Sound Studios in Nashville. He's worked

the tools that shape (and are shaped by) audio engineers, performers,
and audiences around the world. Prior to his work with manufacturers, he
focused on his career as a musician while also earning a master's degree
