Shave Your Head for Free Tibet" Action

What: 54th Anniversary of Tibetan National Uprising Day

When: Sunday March 10th, 2013

Where: Front of Westlake Mall in downtown Seattle

Time: 10:30 am till 3:00pm

Join us for the 54th Anniversary of Tibetan National Uprising Day! SeattleTYC would like to encourage everyone to join in solidarity with the brave Tibetan martyrs as we see alarming rate of self-immolations in the past few months. 

SPECIAL TAKE ACTION: "Shave Your Head  for Free Tibet" action! Come and shave your head for the cause, we are seeking volunteers so please respond to this email ASAP with your name and number, and we if you can't then we also encourage you donate to cover rally expenses, any amount would be greatly appreciated. 

Program includes:

-Face painting

-National Anthem

-Speech by special guests

-HHDL Statement

-Face painting 

-March towards Chinatown and back to Westlake Mall

-Petition Signing 

-"Shave Your Head for Free Tibet" Action - need volunteers

-Candlelight vigil

-Prayer for martyrs

-Testimony/Poem reading

-light refreshments will be served at the end of the program
