Title Data Modeler
Location Jersey City, NJ
Duration 6 months Contract

Data modeling experience – tools like ER*WIN (CASE ERwin Data
Modeler), Embarcadero ER/Studio, Oracle Designer, etc
Reverse engineering existing oracle databases , based on limited
documentation – data dictionary
Database design skills – ability to design data warehouse , which will
be fed by two oracle database, experience in architecting large scale
Data Warehouses
Familiarity with financial concepts – portfolios/transactions/holdings/
tax lots
Good communicator – this role will require interaction with Vendor
oracle experts to create the data model
Proven track record of database performance tuning
Expert designing and constructing data architectures skills (i.e.
conceptual, logical and physical model design
Experience with Operation Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses and
Data Marts) within financial industries
Expert RDBMS knowledge of Oracle (10g and 11g) with strong experience
on back-end processes and engineering
Strong knowledge on Oracle OLAP and hands-on experience and working
Solid skills on SQL tuning, PL/SQL, Unix, shell scripting, OLAP
technologies
6-8 years experience
