Hi,

Now that I have taught myself basic drupal use, I have begun
setting up several sites. Two of my sites have product catalogs, file
attachments, logos, etc. While the sites are very small the file
directories for the sites (multisite installation) are becoming a
mess. I have several logo files, each time I upload a product or
catalog image, I get several different version in different folders,
all core uploads go into one directory, etc. etc. Can anyone suggest
a way of auto or semi-automatically handle organization of files? I
would like to go in and organize what is already there, but I'm afraid
of breaking my site. Can anyone suggest a good method for organizing
what is there? Any help would be appreciated.
If you would like to see one of my sites, you can find it at

Andy,
If you have shell access, you might be able to share file directories with Symbolic LInks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symlink  Example: ln -s target link_name
