Beginner study group: Make the group more public.
- Make it so anyone (non-members) can read discussions and pages
- Make it so anyone can request an invitation to join (if you haven't
already), and that current members can invite other members.
- Set up some categories so people can find the group on Google
Groups. (Select a region, and category Computers > Software)... not
sure if this helps or not, but it might.)
Also, maybe as part of the Statement of Purpose - suggest people can
ask Drupal questions on the list? As you've stated it so far, it looks
like the list is just for planning meetings. Maybe that is your
intention, but I think you might get more list members if they knew
they could also discuss Drupal issues.
Just a thought...
