People who attended:

Andrew Green, Jesse, Ben, Phoenix, Chris, Nathen, Austin, Maria, Elli,
Dennis (NSCC), Amy (NSCC), Duvey (name?), Ian, Danae, Michael, Chervon
(i don't know how to spell her name), Maria, Maria, Christian (NSCC),
Linda Chauncey

General notes:

Basically expended ideas or added new ones at this point:
-Solar panels on the roof or in combination with the roof top
garden?
-Chervaughn (sp?) spoke with a woman in Math and Sci building
about getting other students involved with these projects from other
classes or programs, and the woman essentially said make it part
of the curriculum. Make it so it doesn't feel like extra work to the
students.
-Surf-Rider+knitting club+sewing club+fashion design class+ local
market or such to make and give/sell (?) reusable bags to.
-Service learning credit was mentioned again
-Concern; how does a club raise money for itself? How much is it
allowed to? What are the rules? One more reason to not become a
club?
-Rain water catchment in combination with green roofs or
balconies?
-Chris of NSCC is working on a meter system for rain water
catchment to figure out the amount of water in the sewage systems
coming
from rain water catchment so as to not be over charged by the
city (may have missed some notes on this one, I'm slow at writing).
-clarification: mentioned that for every 50 reusable bottles
bought from the SCCC bookstore, one line of water will be taken out.
What
does one mean by "one line of water"?
-Culinary Program already composts! How can we expand on it or
open it up to more departments/students/groups/people?
-How can we do more to support SAgE?
-Christian of NSCC (the Sustainability coordinator) mentioned more
schools and colleges are trying to find out what others are doing as
far as sustainability is concerned. There is definably a desire
to connect between schools. How can we facilitate this? (Is
facilitate an
appropriate word for what I'm trying to say there?)

Probably missed a lot of things, sorry. Please add on.
