We have book club scheduled for next Wednesday. However as a thought, what about doing it on a Sunday night? Would give the host a bit more time to prepare and just overall more relaxing.

Feel free to respond as I know you will :)

I agree that it would be more relaxing and nice to do it on a Sunday.  I'm also open on the 24th if we want to start this month.

Sunday night would be ok for me usually, I think we've decided against it before because of people being out of town on the weekend...

I work on Sundays, so in a sense they're no different than any other day.  I already have plans on the 24th though.  My plan is to drink $1.27 cocktails at Seastar.  I'd say we should have book club just meet there, although not sure there'd be room.  And I've committed to going down with neighbors.

So did we agree to at least host this month's book club on Sunday?

Sundays work much better for me - I might actually be able to start coming again if it was Sunday!

hey there,

question about sundays....do you think we might be able to meet earlier than 7? like, 5:00 or 6:00?

Sunday's are sketchier for me - I don't have anything regularly scheduled but do have things that would make me skip come up even more often than during the week. Plus, Sunday evenings are kind of my "catch up on things at home before the work week starts" night.

I know I just invited her to join so none of you have met her yet, but I believe Mel would probably be out on Sundays as well until the Spring. She teaches at Stevens on the weekends during ski/snowboarding season.

That said - if it works for most of the group - majority rules! :) If we do move it to Sundays, I'd prefer not to move it earlier than 6.

I work Sundays, so 6:30/7:00 is the earliest that would work for me.  I'd prefer we not meet on Sundays as well, but if we switch I'll try to make it work.

Hi Everyone!

I am just joining and as Nora said Sundays are hard unless everyone wanted to go skiing/snowboarding and have book club one month at the Stevens Pass :)

Looking forward to meeting you all and if Sundays work for everyone I will try to make it or start coming in April.

Ok, seems that people are split on Sundays. Let's try doing book club this Sunday at 6pm. If people find it too cumbersome/people can't make it we'll go back to our regularly scheduled programing.

My house- 6pm. I will get an evite out today. Sorry for the delay I've been swamped at work this week.

6540 24th Ave NW, Seattle 98117 Apt #3 My number 206-291-5869

I will make a main dish, it will have meat. Most likely stew or some sort of lasagna. Something hearty. Please bring wine, salad, apps etc.

Book- Summer of Naked Swim Parties.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Lorraine
