Our book for September is Factory Girls. I actually burned through it
since I thought it was so interesting so I have a copy--(actually 2,
since I have one from the library as well)--for people to borrow if
they want it. Let me know!
I wanted to mention that there are a few chapters you can probably
skip if you want since it's a looong book. Chap. 6, 11 & 14 all talk
about her personal family history, and while interesting, only loosely
tie in with the rest of the book (that's what I thought anyway).
In fact, if you're really strapped for time you could just read a
chapter or two that interests you. The book follows two main factory
girls throughout, but I think that each chapter could stand on its
own.
Just a few thoughts!
