Position: Java Technical Lead

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: Long Term

Joining Time: Immediate

 

Required Skill:

 

The Technical Lead will need to design and develop solutions for Enterprise clients. The tech lead will be required to act alone or is expected to lead a team for a definable segment of a large solution/service. The Tech Lead develops and validates solutions based on best practices. 7+ years in Application Development, Design with at least 3 years of experience in design.

 

•        Excellent understanding and working experience on OOAD and methodologies.

•        Must be able to understand and express any design/architecture aspect through UML and/or other representations.

•        Hands-on experience with one of the modeling tools like Rational.

•        Through understanding of Design Patterns and experience in their usage.

•        Thorough understanding of RDBMS principles, design and hands on experience on any of the DB systems like Oracle etc. Thorough understanding of Transactions management.

•        Excellent understanding of enterprise level applications, their architecture, issues, and data flow etc.

•        Working experience in Java technologies and frameworks like Ext-JS, Javascript, AJAX , Struts, Spring Framework, JPA, EJB, JSP, Servlets etc.

•        Hands on with SOAP based Web Services and Restful services

•        Should have good working experience with one of the IDEs like Eclipse, Websphere or Jbehive.

•        Conversant with various tools like XML,JAXB , Active MQ,Solr,Lucene , Junit, DBUnit, JWebUnit, CodePro, JProbe, JMeter, etc.,

•        Exposure to ORM tools like Hibernate is required.

•        Ability to negotiate scope with clients.

•        Knowledge on Agile Development processes like SCRUM etc

•        Excellent Communication Skills and ability to interact with customers is a must.
