Interesting article -- interview with Geraldine Rojas about tango, culture, music.

<<< People say tango is sad, but it just gives you in poetry the real situation. Nobody is purely happy. We cry in Argentina when the music is good, it is cathartic >>>

Notice an interesting reference to Ney & Jennifer and discussion about different styles on the last page of part 2 :-)

Thanks for posting this Anton.

It is hard to figure what exactly they (Geraldine and Ezekiel) are
thinking but a definite frustration with the tango culture shows
through.

They don't like attitudes of the majority of teachers which are then
reflected in the attitudes of the learning crowds which in turn come
to them for instruction. They seem to say that tango is simpler than
most teachers - who are 'egoists' - make it appear out of self-
interest. Strangely they encourage me *not* to take their instruction.

btw - great music is always sad even when it is happy - Mozart told
me so.
