We are seriously considering making our SeasonPlanner - 2004 solution
available to organizations and schools interested in using it to host
their own web sites. We are considering a yearly lease model based on
the anticipated number of season sites that would be built.

Looking for feedback.

Have a great day!

I think it's a very good idea. For the younger generation (if my kids
are any indication), getting on the computer and visiting websites is
second-nature. I think the youth sports experience would be enhanced
if players in a school or league could access each other's team pages.

>From an administrative standpoint, it would also ensure that a uniform
policy (such as requiring password usage to gain access) acceptable to
a school's or league's administration was in place.

It would also allow the administration to know what was going on with
its teams. As an example from our experience, we usually hold our
baseball practices at a site closer to most of us than the park at
which we play our games. The park's insurance policy covers us when we
are off-grounds only if the park is aware (and endorses), beforehand,
the specifics of such practices. By making our team site available to
the park's administrator, I have satisfied that requirement without
otherwise going out of my way.
