First of all great software. My players and their family members love
it.

Question: I plan out my practices and give it to my team before the
next practice. I was wondering if you were thinking about or maybe
adding a practice planner as part of the software that can be posted
and printed. I use software now to do my planning and it would be great
if I could do it all in one place. If nothing else, maybe something to
think about.

Thanks for the kind words. I like the idea of a practice planner. I
also like the idea of allowing our users to assign tasks, in an event.
For example, snacks, game setup, cleanup, etc. I think we could
accomplish both with a task schedule for any event. It would be a list
of tasks consisting of:

Time, Title, Description

I think it could be that simple. We could then add a new Tasks tab to
our Event Maintenance Screen and it could work for tasks assignment and
a simple practice scheduler.

What does everybody think?

Have a great day!

I agree that a Practice Planner would be an excellent addition to the
package. I use other baseball softward (Baseball Coach) for this
purpose, and it aids in pulling together drills and skills, assigning
parents/coaches and spitting the whole thing out as a html document.
Right now, I organize these practices on my own computer and provide a
link to them from my SeasonPlanner team site. It would be great to do
everything inside of SeasonPlanner, though.

One note on Ken's comment: The "Description" portion of the event
should include the ability to work with drawings. A lot of these
drills make a lot more sense when drawn out than they do with purely
verbal explanations.

You know, it would be really fabulous if Season Planner subscribers
could look through each others team pages and pull out the drills and
such that they liked for their own team websites.

It would be very easy to include one diagram or picture. I really like
the idea of a library of drills. That is a very good idea. It is
definitely added to the wish list.
