Integrating the doc audit checklist and The Good Docs Project

Season of Docs folks,

As you have previously announced, Google's Open Source Programs Office has sponsored and shared a documentation content maturity checklist and guide. (Great work and thankyou.)

This audit/checklist aligns very closely with initiatives we have within The Good Docs Project and is something that we'd like to integrate with and build upon.

We'd like to understand how we as The Good Docs Project should work best with Google with regards to maturing the audit/checklist material.

Should we fork the material into our own repositories and develop within our project? Or will Google want to play a lead role in integrating the material within Google's repository?
