Payoneer Tax forms - Season of Docs payment

Hello,

My query is related to what tax forms I need to fill out on the Payoneer website. I'm a Canadian citizen, do I still need to fill out a form? Or is this only for US citizens?

Beyond that, we (the Google admins) can’t provide any tax-related advice. The situation differs per country and depends on the information you’ve filled in on the Payoneer site. It's best to contact Payoneer support at https://payoneer.custhelp.com/app/Contact_us. You may need to speak to a tax advisor if you are having difficulties completing the forms.

It seems that you still need to fill out a form, even if you are not a US citizen or a US resident.

On Payoneer there are three forms available for individuals and the corresponding ones for entities.

The first two require either a US SSN or a ITIN (these are numbers used for identifying taxpayers on US).

The third form available (which is W8BEN, if I remember correctly) does not require a SSN/ITIN if you are not a US citizen/resident, but you can give the number that identifies you as a taxpayer on your country.

I don't know why this topic is surrounded with clouds of mystery, and even the Payoneer support does not give you straightforward answers when you contact them.
