Robert Wayne Shoemaker

 

Robert Wayne Shoemaker of Ocean Isle Beach died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Mecklenburg County, NC, on May 27, 1934, a son of Oscar and Corrie Dover Shoemaker. 

He was a grocery broker, a Mason, and served on the Board of Directors for Providence Home. 

 

He is survived by his wife, Emlynn “Lynn” Bizzell Shoemaker; sons, Robert  “Rob” Wayne Shoemaker, Jr. (Jeanne) of Charlotte and James “Jamie” H. Shoemaker of Ocean Isle Beach; sister, Janice Bennett of Wilson; and grandchildren, Roger, Kathryn, and Emlynn.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, at Seaside United Methodist Church.

 

A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Eastway Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC.
