gif transparency / brushes

i know were currently in feature-lock for 0.2, but i've a couple of
things I think we should definitely look at next, after peeking through
the forum posts:
first off, gif transparency support. really, the format is pretty
useless without transparency IMO. The only way IE <= 6 can have
transparencies in images. the only other 'use' for them is in animated
form, but that's i'm guessing a little beyond our scope for now.
next, extra brushes. seems like people are having all kinds of trouble
putting them where they're supposed to go. mostly because that's inside
the app package, and to be fair, that's a bit of a no-no anyway ;) If
they update they're going to have to go through it all again! Anyway, I
think it'd be better all 'round if we could maybe put them inside
~Library/Application Support/Seashore/Brushes/ or similar, which seems
like where they ought to be put anyway really?
oh, and while i'm here, i know we talked about it a little, but is the
menu rearrangement going ahead for 0.2 or is that later as well? (I
really want that 'transparency color' moved!)
