Reading and Spelling BEE

Dear 5^th and 6^th Grade Parents,

 

We are starting literature circles in our reading class.  This is a way of reading books together that the students can discuss and enjoy.  I have selected titles of varying difficulty. The students then randomly chose the book that they wanted to read and the book choice put them in a book specific circle. The students then choose their job/s amongst themselves. We will meet for literature circles and the student will be able to come with their job completed to discuss with their fellow students at that time.

 

We will be doing literature circles for the rest of the semester. The students will rotate titles.
