ThenI went into a layer to see if I could add a new field with the 'single' data type, and it was not an option in the drop down menu of data types. When adding a new csv hosted feature layer however, it is possible to designate a field as a single type. Again, seems inconsistent.

In ArcGIS Online, I have what may be a unique situation - we would like to use one service definition file for multiple feature services. Not only that, but we also want to administratively enable/disable fields within each feature service so that each service shows its own set of data from the single service definition source.

This is done by setting up each feature service as a separate layer, then uploading the layers together to ArcGIS Online as a single Service Definition. It will appear as one Feature Layer on AGOL, that when added to a Web Map will have have each FS controls exposed for settings.

Well, this didn't seem to work the way I expected it to work. Using ArcGIS Online, we want to point two different feature services at a single data source and enable editing and visibility on 1/2 of the fields in one feature service, and 1/2 of the fields the other feature service - allowing two different groups to contribute to a single data source. I believe this is easy using ArcGIS for Server, but this workflow is for those without ArcGIS for Server.

I've been reading through the "create hosted feature layer views" in AGOL, but I don't see guidelines in here for creating 1 view that points to multiple feature services or how to go about that, only to create a view of an existing feature service. is there a page that walks through how to create 1 view that brings in many feature services?

Hi Adam - that link is about creating 2 or more different "views" of the same data, where you can customize certain settings differently on the two views, even though they ultimately are the same data.

If I understand your question correctly, I don't think that there is a way to do what you're asking - i.e. grouping together data from multiple different sources, that already exist separately on ArcGIS Online? You just have to add them separately to a map.

Or perhaps you meant how do you create a hosted feature service with multiple layers? I've created mine by sharing from desktop applications (both ArcMap or Pro - but a note of caution, they index the layers differently - ArcMap from 0, and Pro from 1, so things break if you try to update an existing service with the other program - or indeed if you change the order/number of layers!). However, some of the pre-made templates in ArcGIS Online have multiple layers - e.g. in your Content area go Create > Feature Layer > Damage Assessment for instance.

Renewing a transponder means paying the annual user fee for a vehicle that already has a transponder and for which the annual user fee was paid in some earlier year. A new transponder is provided only for certain reasons.

The DTOPS website lets you place orders and pay online for Annual User Fees (Commercial Vehicles, Private Vessels, and Private Aircraft) and Single Crossing Fees (Commercial Vehicles) associated with crossing the border into the United States. Transponders are used for commercial vehicles while decals are used for private aircraft and private vessels (30 ft+). Single crossing fees apply only to commercial vehicles.

If you have a large inventory of commercial vehicles, private aircraft, or private vessels, then you will likely have a better user experience using a desktop or large tablet, due to the tables that are used to display some of the information.

Yes. A corporate / company aircraft or vessel is eligible for a decal and is considered to be a "Private Aircraft" or "Private Vessel" as long as passengers do not pay a fare. The same is true of an aircraft or vessel that is owned by an individual - it is considered to be "private" as long as passengers do not pay a fare.

Although it is possible to pay a crossing fee at a U.S. border station, paying for an annual or single crossing fee online decreases the amount of time that an individual needs to spend at the station, expediting their entry into the United States by automating the fee transaction process.

The transponder, also known as a User Fee, is a sticker that contains a radio-frequency identification chip (RFID technology) that transmits information about a vehicle and border crossing User Fee payment status. The transponder is attached to the windshield of a commercial vehicle and should remain on the vehicle for the life of the transponder (up to 10 years), even if the vehicle is sold. An annual User Fee expires on December 31st of its issue year, but the transponder may be used for multiple years (renewed) if the annual User Fee is paid for each of those years.

Decals are stickers that are placed on all private aircraft and private vessels (30 feet or more in length) as proof that the User Fee for entry into the U.S. has been paid for the calendar year. Any arriving vessel or aircraft that does not have an annual decal will be required to pay the non-refundable User Fee and complete an application, which will be forwarded to the processing center. The application will be processed, and a decal will be mailed from the processing center. A decal expires on December 31st of its issue year. A new decal is issued whenever the decal is renewed.

Pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552a(e)(3), this Privacy Act Statement serves to inform you of the following concerning the collection of information on the Decal and Transponder Online Procurement System (DTOPS) website for the payment of user fees for commercial vehicles, private aircraft and private vessels.

PURPOSE: The purpose for soliciting this information is to allow the purchase of border-crossing transponders or decals for commercial vehicles, private vessels and aircrafts, and to allow the payment of the commercial vehicle single crossing user fee via the secure DTOPS website. The DTOPS website provides a convenient method to pay for either a border-crossing transponder or decal or a single crossing user fee. Paying online via DTOPS improves wait times by allowing carriers to pay the user fee online prior to arriving at the border.

DISCLOSURE: Providing this information is required for those commercial truck, private vessel or aircraft carriers who voluntarily choose to pay online the annual transponder or decal, or the single-crossing user fee. Carriers that choose not to purchase an annual transponder or decal or to pay the user fee online will continue to have the option to pay the user fee upon arriving at the port. By submitting your PII in applying for a DTOPS account, you are giving CBP permission to use the information for a specific, stated purpose, i.e., to obtain the benefits of creating a DTOPS user account.

Hi HubSpot Community,

I'm looking to find a way to create a dashboard that consists of reports pertaining to online events. As a best practice, instead of creating multiple dashboards for each event, I'd like to create one permanant dashboard and users would be able to choose the event of their liking and the reports pertaining to that event shows up in that single dashboard. General reports such as number of registrations, number of attendees, number of tasks assigned to owners, tasks completed number and pipeline created some of the reports that are present in the dashboard. Please let me know what could be the possible solution.

Using the Marketing Events object could get you a portion of the way there, but there are still some limitations with that object and reporting, in my opinion. They have recently added the ability to upload CSVs with Marketing Event data, which is helpful.

Lastly, we've done some of this reporting using custom objects in which each object is a specific marketing event. The custom object reporting functionality as well as their ability to work with workflows is more comprehensive than the marketing events objects.
