Hey SearchCamp Folks,
I would like to blog about this and promote your event. I am aware
that its for a good cause. Also I am aware that you collect money.
What is the perk for a blogger. Do you have something or just a pat on
the shoulder.... :)

Dear Arouldas
Greetings
Thanks for your mail.
Ezhil was right but ......
Yes. We charge Rs 500 per participant. But for a 2 day event of this quality and scale normally Rs 10000 is charged. We numbering about 15 with our day jobs work part time both during weekdays and over weekends to do such events and don't get paid for it. But the true perk is the networking opportunities with great minds and all the knowledge gained out of the event.
I would personally & strongly urge you to promote this and such events for your own good. Though this may not give you revenues the good will generated will enhance your brand equity and will lead to genuine revenue opportunities. Take my word for it and please do promote SeachCamp2
Any info you need please do contact us ( My Number : 0 98410 30506 )
Have a great day

actually there is a perk associated when you blog about an event at ur site.
the perk is - visitors
get it, you need only to write about the event and you will get back the google juice needed for any website

just go ahead napolean, join the crowd, beat the drum, let us enjoy the music
ofcourse the main part is gaining the knowledge

cheers
