Hello Sukumar, I updated the page, half an hour back. Can you check and let me know whether the details are there? ** This session is an wonderful eye opener to an exciting world of "Search". Why should students consider this as an "Career" option? Most of the career options that was available to students appear bleak in the current economic scenario. This is one area where if the candidates possess minimum 6 months of experience, they can get a decent break. The only catch is that the candidates must be willing to work in any part of India. Which Students will be most benefited? The current Final years can consider as an option. Especially those who had Call Center/BPO careers in mind can also look into this. What are the necessary student skills? Students should have decent communication skills. Good understanding of English language. Ability to write, will be an added advantage. A basic degree is more than sufficient. Even students who aspire to become designers can attend this session. ************** Thanks, as always, itispals http://theRearView.blogspot.com --- On Fri, 2/13/09, Sukumar tKF <suk...@searchcamp.in> wrote:
Thanks Amish for forwarding the information... After this event i had reached "Google" and from the information we get, this event is targeted at their existing "relationships". Still as Amish as pointed out, even if few people are to loose the opportunity of taking part because of this event, i feel it would be wise for us to postpone the event. Infact regarding this i also had an extensive discussion with Sukumar. We can all meet again on Monday to take a call on this. We can meet at our usual venue...

Hello Members, It very much appears that we would have to postpone searchcamp'09 by a week or two. Please share your views. To freeze on the dates is very much essential to reach the colleges and agencies. We will meet tomorrow in our usual venue at 3:00 p.m to decide on the pending activities. Those who are unable to join, please share or air your views. Thanks,
