I recently installed your Firefox add on and although i found it useful i believe there should be a easier way of making it go back to its minimum size upon clicking escape key or by clicking anywhere outside the search bar, currently i select all with ctrl+a and press backspace to remove the typed text to make it go back to normal size this is unnecessary so could you please add a option in the future version for these needs, thank you.

This is closely related to
https://bugs.launchpad.net/autosizer/+bug/1253719 and
https://bugs.launchpad.net/autosizer/+bug/1249931. What I think I am
going to do is squish these all together.

I have created a new issue to track this. I recommend subscribing :D

Hello Prem,

I have implemented this feature and it will be available in version 3.0.0 when it is released.  You can grab a beta build now at https://bugs.launchpad.net/autosizer/+bug/1266359, see the packages attached in the comments.

To get the behaviour you want open the preferences dialog and uncheck "size on content" and check "size on focus".

Hope this fixes your issue.  If it doesn't please let me know.
