The Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) is looking for exceptional candidates with expertise in automated planning and heuristic search that are interested being a part of an interdisciplinary team that advance the state of art in building intelligent systems that integrate multiple AI techniques including Heuristic Search/Planning, Knowledge Representation, Diagnosis, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Cognitive Systems.

Specifically, we currently have three open positions:
1) AI Engineer.
This position is for an M.Sc. or Ph.D. graduate
The primary role is to design, implementing, and maintaining software architectures capable of supporting and integrating software components used by research projects developed at PARC.

2) Member of the Research Stuff, AI  
This position is for Ph.D. graduates with extensive knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (both symbolic and machine learning). The primary role is to contribute to research projects utilizing AI planning and optimization algorithm, publish papers in conferences and file patents.

3) AI Principal Research Scientist.
This position is for a senior researcher in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) area.
The primary role is to develop research plans, write proposals, publish academic papers in conferences, and lead technical scientific projects.
