Dear researchers,

We are pleased to introduce a new workshop on MAPF held at ECAI. Any MAFP related work (including accepted or rejected to ECAI main conference) is welcomed.

1st European Workshop on Multi-Agent Pathfinding (EurMAPF-25)

https://sites.google.com/view/EurMAPF25

Part of the European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ECAI) 2025
Bologna, Italy
Half-Day - 26 October 2025

Multi-agent Pathfinding (MAPF) is the task of navigating a set of agents in a shared environment. Such a task can be found in robotics, navigation, computer games, and recently, most notably in automated warehousing. Solving MAPF 2 optimally is a computationally hard problem. Therefore, depending on the application, it is necessary to make a compromise in finding a good solution and finding the solution in a reasonable time. In recent years, many researchers, as well as companies, focused heavily on solving MAPF as it has numerous practical applications. This workshop aims at bringing these researchers together to present their research, discuss future research directions, and open questions to inspire different communities.

All submissions that relate to collision-free path planning or navigation for multiple agents are welcome, including but not limited to:

Search-, rule-, reduction-, reactive-, and learning-based MAPF planners
Multi-agent machine learning for centralized and decentralized MAPF
MAPF solvers for continuous space
Real-world applications of MAPF planners
Application of MAPF planners on actual robots (e.g. motion and communication constraints, environment changes, etc.)
MAPF methods for avoidance, detection, and repair of faulty execution
Combination of path planning and task allocation, scheduling, etc.
Standardization of MAPF terminology and benchmarks
