Hi, all. I hope your first quarter has been a good one. It's been
great to pop into your blogs from time to time and see what you and
your students are up to.

In any case, this message is about the future of this particular
Google Group - and it's a two part announcement.

First, I want to invite all of you to join a larger, growing, and more
active group dedicated to the same topic. CUE (Computer Using
Educators) is now providing a "civilian" version of the Google Teacher
Academy (no application required) that is similar to the workshops we
did together over several Saturdays last year. When participants
complete this "Google Learning Institute" they are initiated into the
"Google Learning Network" where they can continue to discuss and learn
from each other. I'd like to invite all of you to join this new
network on account of the experience you had with me last year. The
simlest way to accomplish this is to invite you to click the link
below and request a membership:

Second, I am now working on a new web-based learning tool, for which
the tagline will be "Search, Learn, Share" - so I am now planning to
use this currently inactive group (the one I started with all of you
last year) as the mailing list for that. I invite you all to remain a
part of the list - announcements will likely be few and seldom (at
least to begin with). If you'd like to be removed from the list,
simply reply to me or visit the link below to edit your membership:

If you'd like to learn more about the web-based learning tool I'm
working on, see my latest blog post:
