Hi Guys,
Anyone interested in getting farm produce from a Seaport CSA (Community
Supported Agriculture)?
Basically, it's a way of buying directly from the farmers. You chip in
to a farm's expenses in the beginning of a season and receive a share
of their veggies. Fruit shares and other farm items optional.
For more details, check out
www.downtowncsa.wordpress.com. I've
attached a poster about it too (although the minimum share is $300, not
$150). And an "application" that has all the items available and the
costs.
By the way, Pasanella and Son is offering a 10% discount to members on
CSA pick up day. If you are not familiar with
the shop, stop by. I've heard their house wine (organic) is an
exceptional find for around $10.
Best,
Ellen
