I said I was going to give a Python 3 talk in June but I'm doing a lot
of stuff in 2.7 right now and I don't think I'll have enough
experience with 3 to speak on it by then. I may be able to put
something together for August or September. In the meantime, does
anyone have another suggestion for June?

How about a meeting where we talk about ways to deploy Python web apps.  We could find or create an open source web app that doesn't have a ton of dependencies, and then we could have different folks present how to deploy to a different target server.  For example:

- PaaS providers:
  - Google AppEngine
  - Heroku
  - DotCloud
- Custom server:
  - Using Fabric to EC2 or Rackspace
  - ???

As far as the demo app, something like this might work.  No database required.  everyone could try hitting it from their browser post-deploy:
