Hello,

While I was at the Church concerts this summer, I picked up the Coffee
Hounds and the Pangea EPs. The EPs are quite good and have a significant
number of tracks that are not on the "Untitled #23" album.

All the "extra" tracks are quite good. I personally like the "Hounds of
Love" track from Coffee Hounds and "So Love May Find Us" track from
Pangea.

If you are a die hard Church fan and want more recent Church material
seek these EPs out and buy them. They are quite good.

Does anyone else have any recent Church EPs they would like to
recommend?

Cheers,
Rob

i would recommend the easy ep... includes three live tracks, two of which are songs from the seance/persia period... also looking forward to the new ep about to be released....

I totally agree with Rob, in fact I said so a few months ago.. I like the two eps better than the #23 CD.
Go grab a few copies and the sound is 100% better on the actual discs than the downloads....
also the production with the 'new guy', Jorden Brebach is killer.. what I would give to hear new mixes of
Hologram, AENT, and FY.. hmm..

I can take or leave the Coffee Hounds EP myself but would definitely recommend the Pangaea EP. So That Love May Find Us is my favourite Church song ever. I would love to hear them play this live.

I've only just recently bought Untitled #23 along with Coffee Hounds
from churchmerch, I haven't heard a Church album i don't like, but
Untitled is brilliant... almost pure exquisite pastoral pop at times,
and must be one of the few people who liked it on first listen. So
That love May Find Us is also a superb track... though I think that
Pangaea fits in better on the album than it does as a single. I love
the fact that even in the last decade every album The Church have
released are so sonically different and yet still identifiably The
Church.

Hope to pick up No Certainty Attached from the upcoming gig... I'm
assuming (and hoping) the upcoming "So Love May Find Us" tour will
include that song!

Dang, I can't find the Easy EP at my usual outlets.
- thechurchband.com
- amazon.com

I like to acquire the physical CD (as opposed to disposable MP3 tracks).

Has anyone seen the "Easy EP" for sale someplace recently? It is much
appreciated if you share the location.

I have been known to purchase Church discs from remote (to me)
Australian record shops.

Thank you,
Rob
