Just had this in the mail...what is the opposite of "made my day"?

=============================

Hello, greetings and welcome.

I used to believe that music could change the world.

As you may or may not have noticed, things have been reasonably quiet
in the land of KH for the last year or so. To be honest, as my good
friend Andy Gordon said in his album title – Life got in the Way. Now,
it’s time for this chapter of Karmic Hit to slowly begin closing it’s
doors.

[...]

The thing is, as much as I love releasing the cds, trying to get
people to buy them or get radio to play them, is pretty much a huge
pain in the ass. And, for whatever reason, the fan base that KH held,
wasn’t large enough to support new artists. It's heartbreaking in a
way, that these bands didn't find huge followings. They sure as hell
deserve to have. The main thing is, I know there are a couple of
hundred people out there that got what I was trying to do with KH.
More importantly, they LOVED the music with the same intensity that I
do. That’s pretty much what I was going for. So, in that regard, job
well done, me. Anyway, this isn’t the official KH signing off letter,
there’s still another couple of releases to put out before then. But
this is the letter where I let you know that KH soon won’t be
functioning in the way it has for the last ten years.

To this end, I’m trying my best to get the music I love out to the
people that might be interested, before it’s too late. That’s why all
KH releases have been reduced to $10. I remember being shocked when I
heard that labels just dump unsold cds in land fill. To be honest, I
don’t think I could bring myself to do that. I just value the music
too much. But by the same token, it’s not doing anyone any good just
sitting in boxes at KH HQ. So, might I suggest, if there are any discs
you’ve yet to pick up, now is the time to do so. Because some of the
titles are a handful away from being deleted. Not for sale again. Not
in this form or by me at least. I’m even going to include a KH
Previews and Rarities vol 1 – in the first 100 orders. Funnily enough,
that was the most expensive cd to produce – damn embossing - but I
stand by it as being chock full of great songs. We plan to wrap up
this whole crazy exercise with two more releases, at least. So, you
know, don’t panic or anything. The next one is the new Bhagavads
album. It’s been some time since our last outing – but once you hear
this new one, you’re going to feel 20 years younger yourself!

I want to thank all the people that have supported KH over the last
ten years, the musicians, the press, people on radio – and, most
importantly – the music fan like yourself that has made it all
worthwhile.
It’s been a pleasure doing business with you.

JLK.

ps: I still do believe that music can change the world.
pss: There are over 1000 people on this mailing list - top work!"

Now that sucks...but I started wondering what had happened to them/
him, actually...

Sad news, but I know all too well the hassle of running a label.

Anyway, everyone should grab a copy of that Beangrowers album - good stuff!
