Welcome to Seal of Biliteracy Massachusetts Google Group. This group is a great place to share resources to encourage language learning and biliteracy, implement the State Seal of Biliteracy and/or Biliteracy Pathway Certificates, and ask questions of the group. You can also visit the Google Group site and search through past conversations. There is a wealth of tips and information about assessment, award logistics and more.

The Google Groups and the Biliteracy Pathway Certificate Program are volunteer efforts overseen by the Language Opportunity Coalition (LOC), a group that formed to advocate for passage of the LOOK Act. The group was originally started to connect educators for LOC's Seal of Biliteracy Pilot Project from 2014-17, before the law was passed. MATSOL, MABE and MaFLA were all founding members of the group, along with MIRA Coalition.
