Heads up, you will be getting an email like this sometime soon, it is for our training in 2 weeks on community disaster education.
You have two weeks to do the homework assignment the trainer is sending out. He says it will take 1.5 hours. If you do it, you can put down training hours for it.

My name is David Shannon and I’ll be one of your instructors along with my colleague Emily Fortman at the upcoming Disaster Preparedness Educator Training for Habitat AmeriCorps members. I’ve attached a pre-class homework assignment to help develop your disaster preparedness knowledge. This helps ensure everyone participating in the training will have a base level understanding of preparedness messaging and resources. You will find other attached documents to reference for the homework assignment answers. Please bring the completed assignment with you to the training.

Here is the t-shirt design alex and I worked on today. We played with a few different ideas, but Bucky came up with the idea of have the word VOLUNTEER on the back in place of where a baseball players name would be, perhaps it could be the number 13 or '13 for the year 2013. Let me know what you know think? Thanks!
