Greetings from the sky my feathered friends!
We've been hard at work planning the 13th annual conference and I wanted to direct your attention at a few things.
1. Our CFP is open! As outlined in this blog post we launched it at LFNW and plan on keeping it open through June 15th. We're seeking a wide variety of talks, from folks of all skill levels. So please, submit early, submit often!
2. We're looking for new and returning partners. SeaGL is, and always has been, free to attend. However, there are a variety of costs associated with running the event. Our sponsor prospectus outlines ways to help cover these costs. Please forward it along to anyone you think might be interested in supporting our free/libre/open community!
3. SeaGL's success is measured by how many folks participate. Please spread the word by distributing this year's fliers. We've got one focusing on date details and the other on the CFP. More will be released as soon as we announce our keynote speakers...
4. As always, we're looking to grow our year-round volunteer team. If you or someone you know would be interested in learning what it takes to organize a tech conference, please reach out via this form.
