Greetings from your feathered friends at SeaGL!
It appears to have been a long time since our last message on this
list. Fret not, SeaGL 2023 is in the works and we have some major
announcements to share.
Firstly, SeaGL 2023 will be held November 3rd and 4th on the
University of Washington Seattle campus at the HUB. We will also be
streaming presentations and striving to provide an online social
experience for our remote community members. More details may be found
here:

Second, this year's CFP is open for _two more days_...! I realize this
is short notice, but please consider submitting something or sharing
it with a friend who may be interested. This has included our extended
window, so do act ASAP if you plan on getting something in. Details
regarding the CFP may be found here:
https://seagl.org/news/2023/06/01/CFP-Extended
Third, our all-volunteer staff is stretched a bit thin, especially
given the return to in-person activities. We have a more detailed blog
post about the sort of assistance sought pre-event coming out soon.
Until then, if you are interested in lending a beak or wing, please
feel encouraged to review this page:

Finally, we are spending a bit more time on our social media presence
these days thanks to some new volunteers pitching in! If you are a
socialite too then come join us on Matrix, Mastodon, Twitter,
LinkedIn, or Facebook, and get the latest info about tracks, speakers,
parties, and everything else we are planning!
Thank you all for your attention. Look forward to connecting in
November if not before!
