I'm trying to upload a 259.81 MB large ZIP-file via Webbrowser since the Seafile client is not able to sync the library because it has subfolders. :\
Unfortunately the upload cannot be completed and the only error message which is displayed is: "DERP".
What does this mean and how can I solve this so I'm able to continue uploading via web browser as long as the client doesn't support downloading and synchronizing libraries with folders containing files.

The default upload file size is up to 100M, please modify this value according to https://github.com/haiwen/seafile/wiki/Seafile-server-configuration-options#seafile-httpserver-configuratoin-seafileconf

Regards

Aww.....ok, now I'm  in trouble since I cannot find my seafile.conf as I already wrote here:  https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/seafile/b1gdSxbd_yw

Additionally: I was able to upload files bigger than 1.5 GB via Webbrowser before (650 MB MPG, 350 MB ZIP, 1.5 GB ZIP, 950 MB ZIP, 250 MB AVI).

seafile.conf is located in seafile-data folder.

Not in my installation. As I wrote it's simply not there:

My directory:

/home
-- seafile
-- ccnet
-- logs
-- seafile-server
-- seahub-data

I was looking everywhere else but neither the directory nore the config is there.
Why that and how can I get it so I can change tje settings ? Do I have to run the setup routine again and if yes, whay happens with my server, the libraries and all the files ?

Hi,

Please check the content of ccnet/seafile.ini. The path you chose for seafile-data is stored there.

Regards.

Ah, great !
Here we go ! Thanks Shuai Lin, that's it !
Didn't know that it's stored in the path which is defined in the INI. Maybe this is an information being worth to be added to the Wiki ?

No I can my the appropriate changes concerning quota, e-mail configuration and so on.
The only thing which makes me wonder is that my seafile.conf only contains a few entries:

[database}
type=xxxx

[network]
port=xxxx

[httpserver]
port=xxxx

But nothing concerning quota, mailconfig and so on.
