Sorry my english is not so good.

I try to install seafile 3.0.3 on my debian 6 vps. My Python install is by version 2.6.6. I have use the official doc from the seafile homepage (https://github.com/haiwen/seafile/wiki/Download-and-Setup-Seafile-Server-with-MySQL).

In the attached pic you will see my problem. For solutioni have tried the post from here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/seafile/s1eA3EO9rPc.

But dosn't helps me.

Can someone help me pleace?

You are doing a Seafile installation to MySQL database.
The installer is asking you the mysql root user password, the given one seems wrong.

Check your mysql infos before installing and trying to connect using the mysql command before proceeding.

Hello and thx for the answer.

MySQL Server runs perfectly in many other installations and i can connect to mysql as root in bash command line. But only in seafile install script dosn't work.
You have any idea why i can't connect to the server from their?

Are you installing Seafile in the same machine where the mysql server is?
MySQL can deny login from ip different from localhost, it depends from the GRANT given to the user.

Have you followed this installation guide for MySQL?

Yes it's the same machine where i want to install seafile.
I use MySQL on this server for many php applications and i never have this problems before as right now.
The magic is, i can connect to my mysql server from every where i want and the root user have global all rights. Only through this script is no way.
I can't see whats wrong.

Oh, and yes i have use this install documentation.
And their is one thing more. I have tried to login with python commands to mysql server as a normal linux user. And this works.

Have you enabled the tcp listening of your mysql server? The script need to connect to your mysql server using 127.0.0.1:3306.
