Hi  Alexia,

Thank for the photo I have several of that dinghy and some of when 'Pickle' our Ginger Tom decided to let me sail his dinghy for him as below.  It was a good dinghy, stable and fast. The original was about 8ft long but we kept the breadth but shortened the length and it was held together with epoxy.

The original one that Bob made he used as a tender to his gaff ketch. One day the poor thing got wedged between Bob and a freighter who had also tied up to the quay. Bob wasn't on his boat at the time but the freighter's lines were too tight and the dinghy was squashed and sunk.  When the freighter moved away Bob pulled his dinghy painter up and the dinghy was undamaged but full of water and sludge. If she had been made with ribs inside they would have cracked and possibly wrecked.
