We have a tractor/trailer!  This is happening!  Thanks to a wicked sweet partnership with Starlight, we have a plan to move a couple tons of lumber & plywood 700 miles (and considerably less back).  There’s still a few details to work out, and we still need to formally identify gas money.  We have 6 folk showing up Wed/Thur to stand up the camp and trunk, then 5 more Friday.  Our commitment to BMOrg is 6 AM Sunday, with gate opening 6 PM.  Step 3: PROFIT

FUNDRAISING:

We dropped mandatory project dues, but we still need to pay our bills.  Howard has produced our final plea for cash - please get our Kickstarter in front of your friends, family & coworkers.  This is a Community project, let’s see some Community love!

BUILDING:

Fine strapping lads & lasses needed!  Painting is coming along great.  The trees are well on their way to bright red, green & blue.  Additional decorations, mushrooms, et al are happening as well.  Lots of small details are are left; come on down if you have time and passion.  Specifically, our regular crew of 5 is overwhelmed.  We need YOU Saturday 10-6.  Please RSVP (yes, like planning.  20 people at 3:45 doesn’t work):

POSTERITY:

Thanks again everyone for your efforts, support & cheering.  We started back in January with a half backed idea in an old deadhead’s spare room.  We’ve had our share of false starts and foibles, but overall I’m pleased with the progress we’ve made.  Brendan has volunteered to post-produce our journey – please take some moments to sporadically add your point of view to our GDoc folder.  We take images, videos, or text – you will need to contact Brendan for submissions in the Interpretive Dance format.

Also note our Blog: http://seacore2012.tumblr.com  It could use more frequent contributions.  Please ping Derek if you need access.

Thank you all!
