Hello SSC Sailors,

The Endless Summer Regatta (ESR2013) at Seabrook Sailing Club is two weeks away (Sept. 14 & 15, 2013)!

ESR is the largest regatta* that our club hosts each year, and it's extra fun because it is a youth-only racing event.

This year we expect to have (8) young sailors representing SSC, and over 125 registered sailors (and boats) on property.

To make ESR a success, it takes the cooperation and teamwork of dozens of SSC members including:
Friday - Preparation of Parking, Grounds, and Clubhouse; Early Boat Arrivals;
Saturday & Sunday: Parking, Food, Registration, Sailor Support, 10 races (over 2 days on 3 courses), Trophy Presentation.

Assistance is needed with Electronics, Registration, Kitchen & Food, Signage, Ice Delivery, Coaching, Launch/Retrieval,
Trash Control, Music, Families Support, Safety, Communications, Photography, First Aid, Water Stations, Slide-Show,
House Duty, Scoring, Sailor Giveaways, and Clean-Up.

Each SSC member who works the event will receive (1) complimentary ESR hat, lunch, snacks, and water.

Please volunteer for ESR2013 by replying to this email by 12noon on Sept 2, 2013.
Include your full name, email address, mobile telephone number, and availability.

Deserving a big shout out (THANKS!) for already volunteering are:

Dear Sail Club Members and Friends,

Well, our little sailing club (and big youth regatta) finally got some traction with the local press.
Each year we try, and typically get little to no coverage.

Thank you to everyone who has worked extra hard getting ready for the 2013
Endless Summer Regatta, September 14-15, 2013 at Seabrook Sailing Club.

P.S. the Galveston Daily News even credited member Steve Buggs for his photo.

Pray for Wind!
