Although cutting the grass is no one’s favorite pastime please do not attempt to clear or kill the grass from the surface of your allotted space, this detracts from the look of the grounds.

 

Please ensure you are paying you SSC bills in good time – chasing payment takes up valuable time from myself and the treasurer, thanks. If you have queries on your bill, please let us know.

 

Board of Governor Positions

Each year new board of Governor positions become available, the transition will occur around February/March.

 

New positions available are:

 

House Governor

Responsible for the upkeep of the clubhouse

 

Treasurer

Responsible for the billing services and maintaining the accounts and budget of the club.

 

Vice Commodore

Responsible for membership – getting new people to join the club and communication to the existing membership

 

Race Governor

Responsible for the racing calendar at the club and working with the Summer Solstice and Endless Summer regatta committees to run those events.

 

Each role is for a 2 year term. The board meets monthly on the morning of the 2^nd Saturday. Experience and time at the club is not a barrier – if you are enthusiastic about making the club better for all then please let us know.
