Clean up
A local environmental group is having a clean up the Todville Road area this Saturday. Gene Scott is going and sure would like to see more SSC members and friends there. They will meet under the Seabrook/Kemah bridge on the Seabrook side at 8am and will be there until about 12 noon. Any help appreciated even if only for one hour.

This week
Sat Sep 28 – Fall series racing #3, see note from Ty below
Hey Everyone,
We had fantastic conditions on Sept. 7th for the second day of the Fall Series races at SSC. We also had two fleets, with 21 Lasers and four Sunfish!! The V-15 fleet made the first weekend and I've heard the numerous cats at the club are starting to get interested. Windsurfers are welcome, too. We'll also have a separate Portsmouth start for three or more boats.
This coming Saturday, Sept. 28, is our next set of races, with the last day on Oct. 12. The skipper's meeting is at 1 pm with the first race starting at 2 pm. I've added several new contacts to this distribution that I got at the Endless Summer Regatta last weekend and we're expecting even more Lasers and other classes on the line.
Everyone's welcome to come out and race, either launching from the club or sailing from across the bay. I'm keeping track of the scores for all participants (http://www.seabrooksailingclub.org/racing-series.html), however only club members are eligible for trophies.
Hope to see you on the water.
Sail fast, live slow!
