Last week
We had our 3rd fall series races, I will post the results this week. John Fricker secured 2 wins in the Laser fleet, and along with David Ryden, David Morgan and Ty Geiger, is in the running to win the series in 2 weeks time. Larry Lock prevailed in the Sunfish fleet
Hobie Nationals need help
The Hobie 16/18/20 North American Championships, will be held at Porretto Beach, Galveston the week of October 21-25. We are looking for a couple more Race Committee boats and people and I am inquiring among Galveston-based boating organizations to (a) make them aware of the need and (b) provide contact information. I’d also be interested in any references to other contacts. The North American Hobie Class Association covers all fuel expenses. In general, we’d be looking for something in the 20-24 foot range for setting marks and providing chase/safety support.
Thanks,
Bob Johnson
