Music Fans,

Most local high schools are having "Homecoming" games and festivities
this month.   How about if we designate this coming Saturday's Seabold
show as a "Homecoming" opportunity for the many people who have attended
(performers AND audience members) in the past but have not come around
for a while?   You know who you are.  While Second Saturday's has
changed and evolved over the years, the basics have been pretty
constant:  All are welcome. You don't need to be a polished performer,
even if you are.  First time public performers and veterans are equally
important and appreciated. The coffee is still lousy and the cookies
would make your doctor wag his or her finger.  Audience members are
warmly welcomed.    We all pitch in to make it happen.    And, dare I
say this four-letter word, "love" is still the magic sauce.

So  .  .  .   .   If you have not been for a while--especially if it has
been a long while--please come on over this Saturday.  And, if you know
someone who should be gently encouraged to come, feel free to drag them
along with you.   Lots of us need the nourishment of music and
fellowship during these nutty times on planet Earth.   Come and give
some and get some.

You probably know the drill, but if not please visit our web site:
https://sites.google.com/site/seaboldmusic/ and/or join our Facebook
page. https://www.facebook.com/SeaboldSecondSaturday Lots of details and
current photos, videos and more.  Mega Thanks to Emily for curating this.

Performer sign ups start at 7 PM and the show is at 7:30 PM.   A Yamaha
digital piano will be provided, as well as the older acoustic piano.

All the best,

David Hager, for the Seabold Crewe

Hey folks,

The October Second Saturday show was indeed a Homecoming.   Several wonderful friends who had not been there in a while showed up and blessed us all with their heartfelt music.   So, I will repeat the Homecoming invitation for this coming Saturday's show.  Come one, come all!

The original Homecoming invitation message has been forwarded below for your reference.

This Saturday will be hosted by the Dynamic Duo of Hank and Claire!  Thanks for hosting, guys!   See:  https://hanknclaire.com/ and maybe join their email list or put one of their shows in your calendar.   They will do the usual "Two Song" set but their repertoire would fill several hours.   Have a look, and thanks to them for being hosts this month as well.

For the Crewe,

David
